On the occasion of his visit to the Delegation of Malaga (Spain), our President, Fr. Jesús Fernández and our Superior General Mª Carmen García had a meeting with young university students of different disciplines.
These young people also participate during the academic year in the different activities promoted by the Idente Youth Foundation such as the project Jovins for values which is developed in a school and a children’s hospital in the city and in the World Youth Parliament at the University of Malaga.
During the meeting, the young people shared their impressions and experiences during their volunteer work, which has helped them a lot to grow as persons and to change the world through their personal commitment. A video about our missions in Cameroon and Thailand was also shown which impressed them.
Some of them showed their desire to continue next year, to be part of the faculty of our camps and even to carry out an international volunteer experience in South America.
