The missionaries, in following Christ, imitate his confession of the Father: “The world must know that I love the Father and that I work as the Father has commanded me” (Jn 14:31). This leads them to propagate filial consciousness centered on the Heavenly Father – in the example of Christ and with the grace of the Holy Spirit – to all people and in all areas, obeying the Gospel mandate: “Go into all the world and preach the Gospel to all people” (Mk 16:15).
Following Christ under the action of the Holy Spirit, the missionaries are ready to live and transmit the Gospel, with the sacrifice of their life and their fame, faithful to the greatest witness of love, to die for Him. This attitude makes them untiring apostles, open to the world and free from all attachment to place, feeling the urgency of the conversion of souls.
The two specific apostolic fields are: apologetic dialogue with intellectuals to defend revealed truth, and encounter with youth. Their favorite field is young people experiencing a crisis of faith, who have lost their Catholic faith or who never had it.
From this spirit, the Id Institute endorses the spiritual and social needs of humanity and creates all kinds of foundations for its benefit and especially of the Church.
