Good news continues to come from the university parish of the Idente missionaries in Soa, Cameroon. Fr. Efrén Blanco, a member of the community, tells us about the important advances in this work that is progressing little by little but with a firm step thanks to the help of benefactors from different friends of the Idente family all over the world, whom we take advantage of to thank for all their help.

Parish of the University of San Pedro and San Pablo de Soa – Cameroon
Yaoundé, 31 October 2019

Dear friends and benefactors:

It is with great joy that we come to all of you with the news of the months of September and October.

In the chapter on works: the bell tower has been finished. The beam has been placed over the choir for the roof. The corridor of one meter has been made for cleaning and repairs. The beams have to continue. In the photos you can see the second one on the left. And the third will be for the right of the church. The roof will rest on them. Once they are finished, the roof will be built. Also the corridor of one meter will be continued by all the church (to 8 m of height). In the photos you can see the church full of wooden scaffolding because besides the roof you will use it to make the wooden roof.

Besides this, we want to share with you that, on September 21, we had the reunion of families, the third of the year 2019.

On October 13 we had the Parish Council of Soa to program the activities of the quarter. That is all for now.

Count on our prayers for you and your families and we thank you for the interest and diffusion you give to our activities.
