The group of painters from the La Victoria de San José Monastery in Constantine (Seville), who are part of the “El Gurugú” painting school, during this period of confinement due to the pandemic, have not left aside the solidarity action they undertook last year to raise funds for the Idente mission in Abancay (Peru).
The locality, which had generously poured itself into the project promoted by the school’s director, Carmen Meléndez, of the Idente Family, has continued to hand out clothes, shoes, writing materials, glasses, bags? in a long list of items that have been accumulating in the Casuca, until a team of volunteers can pack everything up and leave it ready to be sent to the Home of the Child Jesus of Abancay.
We are grateful again to so many people who, in the midst of the lack that can be seen in many homes in Spain right now, do not forget the little underprivileged children that the Idente missionaries have under their care.
