The presence and missionary activites of Idente Missionaries were appreciated by the Bishop of Chiangmai in his visit to the Pastoral center Divine Mercy Church. Bishop Francis Xavier Vira Arpondratana visited the Pastoral center to give the Sacrament of Confirmation to 5 young people and one adult. A group of priests from the diocese concelebrated the Holy Mass.
The bishop spend time with the candidates before the celebration. He spoke to them and prayed with them. As a very loving and caring pastor Bishop Vira also met the parishioners and was eager to know the pastoral reality of the parish community. During th visit, he expressed his gratitude to the missionaries for their presence and work in the diocese.
The celebration was very simple, due to Covid restrictions. Still, it was moment of for great joy and blessing for the parish community.
