“Brave: With Christ to change the world” is the motto of this year’s edition of Expo-Vocational 2019. This event is organized by different religious entities including the Conference of Religious of Peru, the Peruvian Episcopal Conference, the Vicariate for Consecrated Life of the Archbishopric of Lima. “Brave” aims to show, in a special way to youth, the various charisms that God gives to the Church to invite us to be #Bold to follow Christ.

Among the more than 80 religious congregations, the idente missionaries were present. The event was an excellent opportunity to spread the charism that God has granted to the Church through our founder, Fernando Rielo, along with the activities that we carry out in more than 22 countries and in a concrete way in Peru.

We also had the participation of Idente Youth teachers and members of the World Youth Parliament, who, in addition to giving testimony of the missions they carry out, were in charge of the Idente Challenge, an activity that included a set of games and interaction through social networks.

The Idente challenge meant not only a series of games, but also an opportunity to give witness of our vocation from young to young, as our founder says: “It has a sign: an inner heartbeat, a longing, a longing that does not let you stop, it is vox Dei, voice of destiny, mysterious voice, marvelously evident from the bottom of your heart.

In dialogue with some of the young people, they told us of their interest in the Idente Family activity. After asking them the reason for their interest, they replied “this activity will do my family a lot of good”.

By way of closing this brief account, we ask that you take into account in your prayers all the young people, teachers and families with whom we have shared this activity.
