The Kings arrived on January 11 in Iquitos, in the Peruvian Amazon. Not even the rain stopped them. They visited an area near the Parish of Our Lady of the Amazon called Micaela Bastidas, administered by our idente institution. They saw the joy experienced by the children and their families who were waiting for them to come, and they sang some Christmas carols.

The next day, in the midst of the rain, the Kings traveled by boat to the hamlet of Fray Martin. Collaborators and young people accompanied this beautiful moment to help in this great mission of the Three Kings to bring gifts to the children.

When they arrived at the place it stopped raining. The children and people present received them with joy. It began with a paraliturgy and then the Three Kings with their pages distributed the gifts to the children. There were moments of great joy, expressed in the smiles of so many children and relatives. It ended with a sharing. The wise men were very generous and the children and parents expressed their gratitude in the midst of simplicity and humility.
