Long Island — In a world where it is not always easy to open ourselves to others, there is another way: to trust in the merciful love of our Heavenly Father.
Around this message, the Idente Family gathered on April 26, 2026, at the Church of Our Lady of Loreto, on a date when Idente missionaries give special remembrance to the Heavenly Father. Nearly two hundred people took part in a day marked by closeness, reflection, and fraternity.
The central moment was the spiritual reflection prepared by Fr. Luis Casasús, read in Spanish by Fr. Fernando Real and in English by Fr. Robert Badillo.
The message gave a name to a very present wound: the loneliness that so often is born from fear—fear for one’s own life, for safety, for the future.
It also pointed to a concrete path:
to move beyond constant self-protection, to step out of our inner isolation, and to look again at others without suspicion. Where trust enters, fear begins to lose its ground.
Afterwards, the gathering continued in a peaceful and joyful atmosphere. Spontaneous conversations filled the hall with laughter, encounters, and attentive faces. What had been heard in the reflection found a simple way of becoming visible.
By the end of the day, there were gazes reconciled with life.
The presence of the Heavenly Father can also be recognized in this way: in a room where no one wishes to leave too soon.
