The first Idente Family meeting this year was precisely on March 18 to celebrate Saint Joseph, patriarch of peace and protector of the Church.
To begin the new council was presented to the attendees. Then they remembered and explained some features of our charisma that opened the hearts of many to the desire to live holiness. Our newly elected vice president, Óscar Henríquez, gave his very inspiring testimony of life, as a member of this Family.
At the end of this presentation, the Idente Family joined the retreat being carried out at the same time by the young people who volunteered during the Pope’s visit to Chilean lands and we had the celebration of the Eucharist in honor of St. Joseph. In the homily we were invited to follow and imitate today the path and virtues of the patron saint of the Church, as a saint of silence, of obedience to the will of the Father without hesitation, and of a generous chastity as protector of the Holy Family; our family model.
This uplifting day was concluded with an artistic encounter, in which we rejoiced with the participation of each one with songs, poetry, dance and theater.
