This Saturday, December 9, was a very special day for the idente missionary community of the delegation of Delhi, who celebrated with emotion and hope the passing into heaven of Fernando Rielo, the founder of the women and men idente missionaries. Bearing in mind also the feast of the Immaculate Conception and its intercession for our lives of holiness.
Saturday afternoon began with the reading of the claustro, of our Vble. Primate, which highlighted the importance of our ongoing conversion efforts, so that Christ can truly transform us, and make us true children of God. And it continued with a commemorative Mass, presided by Father Deivasahae Raj, of the Diocese of Delhi and a great friend of the idente missionary community.
he celebration was attended by several members of the Idente Family, and a small representation of Idente Youth, who arrived in the afternoon, to attend the Mass. During the Mass, Fr. Raj explained a little about his experience with the missionaries and told an anecdote of the founder, to express his admiration for his perseverance and highlight his sacrificial dedication for the institution and all his spiritual sons and daughters, throughout his life.
After the mass, everyone was invited to a dinner snack, in which we continued to comment and explain different things about the founder’s life and the special charism of the institution. It was a very interesting time especially for several new people, interested in being part of the Family Idente. A girl from one family has shown a special interest in having a missionary experience with us. A particularly emotional moment in which the presence of the founder felt most, was when we recited together his prayer of intercession, asking for different personal intentions.
