Fr. Jesús Fernández, president of the Identes missionaries, arrived in Iquitos, an Amazonian city in Peru, on January 20. During his visit he spoke with each of the missionaries, leaving behind the desire to be apostles at all times.
On January 23, Mass was celebrated in the presence of the Idente Family and groups from the parish. During the homily, Father Jesus encouraged us to live from the simplicity of the heart so that the difficulties would be a new occasion to give meaning to life, leaving aside mediocrity, placing Christ as the center and model for the family.
Before dinner, our president greeted and dialogued with those present. Before he left, we addressed to him some words of thanks for all the signs put in place to renew and grow in our apostolic life. He left on 24 January for Lima.
