The Idente Family was born of the Institute Id of Christ the Redeemer, Idente Missionaries. Its members share the same spirituality of living and transmitting the Gospel, following the imperative: “Be holy as your Heavenly Father is holy” (Mt 5: 48), and the promise of Christ: “Where two or three are gathered in my name, I am there among them” (Mt 18:20).
The Idente Family is open to all those who feel called to support or participate in the Idente charism, each according to his or her own state of life, through various spiritual and apostolic initiatives. They live in full fraternal communion with the President of the Institute and veneration for the Church and the Pope.
The Idente Family has various activities: retreats, spiritual lessons, spiritual direction in common, Gospel study groups, artistic meetings, poetic and cultural circles, volunteer work, charitable associations, catechesis, etc.
The members of the Idente Family collaborate with the Institute Id, constituting together with them an adorable family of men and women of all ages and conditions. They confess a Heavenly Father in the midst of the world, in their families, at work, at school, in the university, manifesting a filial consciousness whose model is Jesus Christ, our Firstborn Brother, who was also a child, an adolescent, a youth and an adult.
Thus, the Idente Family also consists of:
- the Idente Catechumenate, with its innocence and dynamism;
- Idente Youth, with its strength and projects;
- Idente Married Couples , who bring faithfulness and fecundity;
- the Idente Seniors, with their experience and wisdom;
- the Idente Volunteers, with their generosity and readiness.
