A los peregrinos Jacobeos Identes, 2025
Queridos amigos caminantes jacobeos:
Gracias por la sorpresa y la alegría de vuestra carta, escrita al final de la Ruta. Es una joya que guardo ya en el corazón, porque confirma lo que nuestro Fundador soñaba y pedía para cada peregrino a Santiago.
Ahora mismo, en Roma, estamos sintiendo lo mismo que ustedes: que Cristo se vuelve a hacer presente si caminamos unidos en su nombre. Lo han hecho en estos días de muchas maneras, como los 200 jóvenes que hemos tenido aquí, celebrando los 50 años de la Juventud Idente y el Jubileo de la Esperanza.
Una de las pruebas de su presencia es la invitación que nos hace a seguir caminando; no nos permite quedarnos sentados, como tampoco lo permitió a los discípulos que le acompañaron en la Transfiguración. Si le escuchamos en el silencio, sobre todo observando la vida del prójimo, el Evangelio y el impulso a ser misericordiosos que nos pone en el alma (tres síntomas clásicos de haber recibido la gracia), no dudaremos en recorrer nuevas etapas y en invitar a futuros peregrinos a caminar junto a nosotros.
Un abrazo muy fuerte a todos, ya miembros de la familia idente peregrina. Como ha sucedido en el Camino, que nada nos separe, que nada nos detenga. Así sucedió a esa Sagrada Familia peregrina a Egipto. Nuestro Fundador y los hermanos peregrinos que ya han llegado al cielo, nos acompañan con sabiduría y fortaleza.

To the Pilgrims on the Idente Jacobean Way, 2025
Dear friends walking on the Way of St. James:
Thank you for the surprise and joy of your letter, written at the end of the Ruta. It is a treasure that I already hold in my heart, because it confirms what our Founder dreamed of and asked for each pilgrim to Santiago.
Right now, in Rome, we are feeling the same as you: that Christ makes himself present again if we walk together in his name. You have done so in many ways during these days, like the 200 young people we have here, celebrating the 50th anniversary of Idente Youth and the Jubilee of Hope.
One of the proofs of his presence is the invitation he gives us to keep walking; he does not allow us to remain seated, just as he did not allow the disciples who accompanied him at the Transfiguration. If we listen to Him in silence, especially by observing the life of our neighbor, the Gospel, and the impulse to be merciful that He places in our souls (three classic symptoms of having received grace), we will not hesitate to embark on new stages and invite future pilgrims to walk with us.
A big embrace to all of you, already members of the pilgrim Idente family. As happened on the Way, may nothing separate us, may nothing stop us. So it was for the Holy Family on pilgrimage to Egypt. Our Founder and the pilgrim brothers and sisters who have already reached heaven accompany us with wisdom and strength.
