On February 12, 2020, our brothers Everardo Bermúdez and Liliana Sánchez, together with the catechetical team of the parish of Our Lady of Hope, to which our sister Liliana belongs, participated in the pilgrimage to the Basilica of the Virgin of Guadalupe.

Every year the Archdiocese of Puebla carries out this pilgrimage and Archbishop Victor Sanchez, together with the auxiliary bishops and parish priests lead it. On this occasion our brother Everardo had the grace of being invited to participate in this great celebration.

In his homily the Archbishop said that “Our Lady of Guadalupe is the mother of tenderness, the one who sustains us in our weakness, the mother who helps us deepen our faith. Missionary and disciple, sign and presence of our church,” that is why they pleaded her for the vocations of Puebla, so that more young people would feel the desire to follow Christ.

On the other hand, our brother Everardo made a tour with the pilgrims of the parish where he is vicar, explaining the apparitions of the Virgin of Guadalupe and St. Juan Diego.

The whole day was one of exquisite coexistence, united as true brothers of the one Mother in Heaven.
