Idente Missionaries Ditto Subin Wilson and Jinwoo Michael Nam were among 36 students who graduated in Philosophy and Theology at a ceremony on May 12 th at Saint Joseph Seminary in Dunwoodie, New York. Presiding at the simple, yet solemn, ceremony, was the Rector of the seminary, Most Reverend James Massa, Auxiliary Bishop of the Diocese of Brooklyn. Also present were the Bishop of Brooklyn, Most Reverend Robert J. Brennan, and Most Reverend Luis Miguel Romero, M.Id, Idente Missionary Auxiliary Bishop of the Diocese of Rockville Centre. Following the solemn entrance procession of all the graduates and faculty, the ceremony began with a prayer, reading of the Gospel and hymn sung by the Seminary choir. Bishop Brennan then gave the main address, congratulating and encouraging the new graduates. Including references to Saint Bernardine of Siena and the beginnings of the Church at Pentecost, he focused on the importance of being witnesses to the Gospel in the present difficult and turbulent moments. The graduates then approached one by one to receive their diplomas amidst the general applause. After words of gratitude to all those present and to all who had made this moment possible, the Rector ended the ceremony with a blessing and invited the attendees to a fraternal reception in the Cloister of the Seminary.
